GOt out of class and listened to some Pissed Jeans then on the drive home, listened to some Bone Thugs. I noticed Layzie Bone mention laying in bed in a troubled state of mined on "Creepin' on Ah Come Up" and on the Pissed Jeans song "Spent", Matt Korvette bemoans his life and also mentions getting out of bed. I thought that was cool. People like to put more bounderies in music than are necessary and think because someone like Matt is screaming over heavy, punk instrumentals, they can't relate to that white boy, or that weirdo, or whatever. And people also think that just because rappers like Bone THugs talk about shit that happens daily in the lower class neighborhoods in America, and every where really, that they wouldn't relate to their drive to acquire currency and get their life in order.

Classic fucking hip hop right here. ITs aged now, but its still gold. This is a group of dudes who meant what they said in their thug raps but also fucking knew how awful a lifestyle it was. 2pac was also someone like that, and he died, fuck the world for that by the way. So dig this shit, there isn't too much music like it anymore.
